Lista fortifies itself for a successful future

Lista Betriebs- und Lagereinrichtungen (B+L) supplements its existing management team with two experienced managers to be able to tackle the job of systematically developing the business. As of November 1, Alfred Gamper will take on the role of Lista B+L Group CEO, Andreas Emödi that of Group CFO .

Fred Gamper, 53, is widely experienced, having managed mid-size businesses for many years. In his former function he had acted as CEO and member of the Board of Soudronic Group, the world market leader of  production systems for metal packaging, since the beginning of 2005. Between 2000 and 2005 he acted as CEO and member of the Tobler Group Board, making significant contributions to developing the market position of the Swiss building utilities wholesaler in the course of a successful management buy-out.
 
In his new job as Lista B+L Group CFO, Andreas Emödi, 38, can rely on a wide range of experience in the financial management and development of businesses. As former CFO of Soudronic Group, and before that as CFO of Tobler, he already worked twice on a successful management buy-out together with Fred Gamper.
 
In the course of finding a successor for the present sole shareholder Fredy A. Lienhard, Lista Group announced in July of this year the sale of the majority holding of Lista B+L Group to Capvis. The systematic reinforcement of the existing management team is a decisive step in implementing the future strategy for growth.
 
Internationally Lista B+L Group has factories in Erlen (CH), Holliston (USA) and Bergneustadt (DE) and over 30 sales outlets of its own. In 2005 sales of over CHF 220 million were achieved with more than 800 employees. In line with the brand promise of "Making Workspace Work", Lista offers high-quality factory and warehouse equipment for industry and service providers, focusing mainly on the machine and automotive industry. Lista's core products comprise drawer systems, storage and materials cabinets, shelving systems, lockers and work station systems.
